Guest Info

Coach Jimmy Freeman has been coaching distance runners since 2002. He has coached more than two-thousand adults (and young people) to run further and run more efficiently by creating an uplifting environment to propel people to break through self-imposed glass ceilings. Jimmy ran competitively for nearly 4 decades (200+ races, including the Boston Marathon, the Angeles Crest 100, the Western States 100 and Badwater 135) and has also coached ultra-endurance athletes over the last 17+ years, in addition to working with complete beginners. He has helped many runners to complete their first marathons, ultra races and 100 milers, first Boston Marathon qualifications, and while it’s his favorite thing to help others, he has personally completed 23 races of 100 miles (or further) for kicks. His partner of 23 years (Kate) and his two kids can all beat him in a race, unless he picks the distance. *wink*
