Tim Metzner is a founder, investor, and ecosystem builder driven by faith, family, and the belief that entrepreneurship can be a force for good in the world. He is the Founder and CEO of Fireroad, an early-stage venture fund and holding company focused on building, buying, and investing in businesses that leverage force-multiplying technologies in AI-resistant categories.

Prior to Fireroad, Tim helped launch and scale multiple venture-backed companies that have collectively created approximately $2 billion in value. He is the co-founder of Cincinnati’s first venture studio, Differential, which went on to launch a unicorn startup (Astronomer), one of the most impactful digital platforms in church technology (Apollos), and a leading digital product agency. Tim also co-founded Coterie Insurance, now one of the fastest-growing small business insurance companies in the United States.

Beyond building companies, Tim is passionate about helping entrepreneurs build healthy businesses without sacrificing what matters most. This conviction led him to co-found a nonprofit organization that has supported thousands of founders in staying committed to their faith, families, and health while creating companies with strong culture and long-term impact.

Tim is powered by his faith and the support of his wife, and he proudly identifies as a dad of four. He shares daily reflections on leadership, life, and entrepreneurship at www.dailymo.co, and believes the true measure of success is not just enterprise value—but the lives improved along the way.
