An entrepreneur and lifelong outdoor enthusiast, Grant launched GeoTrek Vans in 2021 alongside his cousin, Mark McCrabb, after the two began building and flipping camper vans as a side hustle during the post-pandemic outdoor recreation boom. What started as a passion project quickly evolved into one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry, with GeoTrek on track to deliver more than 1,000 custom camper vans within its first five years.
Grant has led the company’s growth by challenging traditional RV manufacturing practices, focusing on higher-quality engineering, transparent pricing, and a customer-first experience that eliminates the conventional dealership model. Under his leadership, GeoTrek has grown rapidly while maintaining a relentless focus on product refinement, operational excellence, and continuous innovation.
Outside of business, Grant is an accomplished endurance athlete and ultra-runner who believes many of the lessons learned on the trail apply directly to entrepreneurship. His experiences competing in 100- and 240-mile ultramarathons have shaped his leadership philosophy around resilience, pacing, long-term thinking, and embracing difficult challenges.
Based in Boulder, Colorado, Grant is passionate about the outdoors, travel, and adventure. He believes great businesses are built the same way great endurance races are finished: by committing fully, adapting continuously, and never giving up.
