Born and raised in Dubai, Sarah developed an early appreciation for sustainability, art, and holistic living through the influence of her parents a wildlife environmentalist father and an educator deeply interested in wellness and holistic medicine. She knew she wanted to become an interior designer at just 12 years old and later pursued formal studies in interior design, art, and business.

Before launching Nuance in 2010, Sarah spent seven years as a designer with Nordstrom, contributing to design initiatives across more than 140 stores. A life-changing car accident early in her career sparked a deeper interest in how environments influence health, recovery, and overall quality of life. That experience ultimately shaped Nuance’s distinctive approach, which integrates wellness principles, sustainability, neuro-aesthetic design, and healthy building practices to help clients create homes that support longevity, connection, and well-being.

Sarah’s work has been featured in leading publications including Architectural Digest, Luxe Interiors + Design, Forbes, The Seattle Times, and Homes & Gardens.
