Renowned for his dynamic leadership and a proven track record in constructing and steering innovative, high-growth insurance enterprises, Mike is a recognized figure in the industry. As a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2022, his visionary approach and innovative thinking have left an indelible mark on the insurance landscape. As President of Roundstone, Mike leads an innovative employee health benefits company. Roundstone empowers small and midsize organizations to provide competitive benefits at a reduced cost through self-funding health insurance via a group medical captive. The company’s excellence is evident in its recognition as one of the fastest-growing companies in America by Inc. 5000 for six consecutive years, coupled with the honor of receiving the Northeast Ohio Top Workplaces Award. Before helming Roundstone, Mike served as the Vice President and General Counsel for an insurance company undergoing a transformative journey to become a NASDAQ listed AM Best A-rated insurer. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to found a medical malpractice underwriter, experiencing rapid growth and eventual acquisition. His senior executive roles include positions with a worker’s compensation insurer, a non-standard auto insurer, and an association with a reputable Cleveland law firm. Mike holds a Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Tulane University.
